The IAS MACH-1 UTV is known to the US Army as an Aviation Light Utility Mobile Maintenance Cart (ALUMMC). It provides U.S. Army aviation units a standardized, logistically sustainable, lightweight, all-terrain maintenance vehicle capable of efficiently transporting personnel, tools, test equipment and cargo across the airfield. The IAS MACH-1 is also marketed and branded by John Deere as the A3-T M-Gator UTV.
