• Ball transfers will be military specified, or equal, consisting of a zinc-plated steel housing with stainless steel ball and inner bearing assembly, designed for dirty application.  Each ball transfer unit will have a load capacity of 500 pounds.
  • The ball transfer conveyor will be capable of transferring and storing 463L pallets weighing up to 10,500 pounds each (fully loaded) without deformation.  The ball transfer deck consists of ball transfer units mounted in a frame with planks for personnel to walk on, pallet guide rails, and pallet stops.
  • The conveyor system will store and convey 463L pallets with weights ranging from empty to fully loaded with damage or deformation.  The conveyor system will store and transport conveyor loads weighing 10,500 pounds distributed over a 108-inch by 88 inch area without damage or permanent deformation.
  • All rollers and balls will be free rolling and spinning without binding during operations.  The force required to start and maintain pallet transfer will not exceed 25 pounds per 1,000 pounds of load, with an applied force 48-inches above the conveying surface at the edge of the pallet.
  • IAS is the only ball transfer conveyor manufacture to install on a perfectly level subfloor to ensure maximum conveyor life and minimum operator push effort.  This installation process is patented by IAS.  It solves the problem of uniform levelness, which is the major factor affecting ball transfer conveyor performance.
